For the first time, the Museum is participating in Indiana Historical Society’s annual Festival of Trees, a Hoosier holiday tradition. Eighty trees, each uniquely themed and decorated, adorn the halls of the Society. Ours is named “Have Yourself a Merry ‘Mini’ Christmas” and displays miniature handmade scenes within the bowl of a wine glass made by members of Madison Avenue Miniaturists, members of Hoosier Mini Makers, Katy Arland, Diana Walker, and Jennifer Borman. Our tree is number 36 and is on the second level just above the grand staircase.
The Festival of Trees is on display through January 6th. All visitors can vote for their favorite tree as well.
