Girl Scouts Program Information
The museum is pleased to offer three programs for Girl Scouts:
Girl Scout Brownies (Grades 2 and 3)
Building Arts Try-It Girls will explore building styles, materials, types of architecture, neighborhoods and designing spaces. Girls will also receive a tour of the museum. This program takes approximately 1.5 hours.
Junior Girl Scouts (Grades 4 and 5)
Architecture Discussion of houses and their design functions, placement of materials, building requirements, various architectural styles, along with designing a room utilizing graph paper and architect techniques. Girls will also receive a tour of the museum. This program takes approximately 2 hours.
Art In the Home Junior Girl Scouts will bring a shoebox and design their own fantasy room using materials provided by the museum. Girls will also receive a tour of the museum. This program takes approximately 2 hours.
Cost: Each program is $10 per girl, adults and tag-alongs are free.
Programs may be scheduled Tuesdays through Fridays.
